Discover this ancient beauty ritual for lifted, glowing skin and total well-being.

Have you seen our beautiful Opal Stone Gua Sha? This elegant tool is more than just a pretty accessory—it’s a centuries-old beauty ritual from East Asia and China that helps restore radiance, vitality, and balance to your skin.

Gua Sha is a gentle yet transformative facial massage technique that promotes circulation, stimulates collagen, and supports your skin’s natural detox process. With regular practice, it can lift, sculpt, and bring a natural glow to your complexion—while offering a moment of deep relaxation.

What Is Gua Sha and How Does It Work?

In traditional Chinese medicine, Gua Sha is a technique used to release stagnant energy and encourage the flow of Qi (life force). On the skin, it helps:

  • Improve skin firmness by stimulating collagen production

  • Lift, sculpt, and plump facial contours

  • Promote lymphatic circulation and drainage to reduce puffiness

  • Enhance absorption of skincare products

  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Preparing for Your Gua Sha Ritual

For best results, always start with clean, nourished skin. We recommend pairing your Gua Sha with:

These products provide the perfect slip, ensuring the Gua Sha glides smoothly and delivers maximum benefits.

Why Opal Stone?

Our Gua Sha tool is carved from natural opal stone, a gem revered for its beauty and energetic properties. In Chinese medicine, opal is believed to support the skin, kidneys, eyes, hair, and nails, while also offering emotional balance and grounding. It’s often associated with love, passion, and vitality, making it the perfect ally for a self-care ritual that nourishes both skin and soul.

Please note: Each stone is unique in its color and pattern, reflecting the beauty of nature.

How to Perform the Gua Sha Ritual

  1. Apply 4–10 drops of your favorite WILD GRACE serum to cover your face and neck.

  2. Warm your Gua Sha by gently rubbing it between your palms.

  3. Neck sweep: Glide from the base of the neck up toward the jaw, avoiding the spine.

  4. Chin sweep: From the center of your chin, follow the jawline toward the ear.

  5. Cheek sweep: Move from the nose outward under the cheekbones, then over the cheekbones.

  6. Eye sweep: Gently glide under the eyes, moving outward toward the temples.

  7. Brow sweep: Move from the brow bone up toward the hairline.

  8. Forehead sweep: Glide from the center of the forehead outward to the temples.

  9. Lifting sweep: Sculpt along the jawline, cheekbones, and temple in upward motions.

  10. Final sweep: From the forehead, sweep down past the ear to the base of the neck.

Pro Tips for Gua Sha Success

  • Keep the tool almost flat (about a 15° angle) to the skin

  • Sweep each area at least 3 times, up to 10 for a longer session

  • Add more serum or oil if the tool drags on the skin

  • Experiment with different sides and shapes of the tool for best results

Contraindications
